This means full-time employees will have a fourth day of rest, instead of working five days per week. There is no change in wages but workers will be paid for working an extra day and two days off per month. If the proposition is accepted, the company will also allow for flexible work arrangements by providing additional support for informal workers who want to work flexibly as part of their job. The new initiative will allow employees to choose either three days or four days of work in an effort to supplement their salaries, while not having to worry about childcare or burnout issues.
