Will Tata Consultancy Services rule out 100% remote work & employees to WFO?

TCS rules out 100% remote work and employees are asked to return to the office, as it’s believed that an individual needs social interaction, communication, and strength from other people at the workplace.
TCS is a global IT service, consulting, and business solutions organization based in India. Tata Consultancy Services provides engineering, technology, and outsourcing services to its customers across 60 countries. The company believes that remote work is not suitable for all positions and encourages employees to return to the office as much as possible.
However, there is no restriction on them and the employees are free to work from wherever they want as long as they meet their deadlines and work on time. TCS is a large company with many departments. The employees may be required to come back to the office for meetings or other reasons or simply because people enjoy being in an office environment with colleagues who share similar interests.
TCS has a long history of working to embrace remote work. That said, there are some roles that require significant amounts of face-to-face time. In these cases, we expect employees to return to the office and come together as teams on a regular schedule.
TCS encourages employees to return to the office during the weekdays, however, the company does allow for telecommuting on the weekends, specifically on Friday afternoons.
A large part of its employee base is located at the company’s offices, with a culture that encourages them to return on a daily basis. The development center in Pune alone has more than 2,300 employees. TCS provides facilities for flexible working hours and remote access, however, it does not encourage 100% remote work. TCS has always been a remote work environment and its employees are encouraged to work from the office. However, there is no rule in place that says you have to work from home or from the office at all times.
