In his new position, Mehta will be responsible for driving Total Environment’s human resources strategy and operations. He will report directly to the company’s CEO, who noted that he expects Mehta to “lead a team of HR professionals who can help us build an organization that delivers the best in people management.”

Total Environment, a leading provider of environmental services, has announced the appointment of Alok Mehta as its new Chief Human Resources Officer and President. Mr. Mehta will be responsible for Total Environment’s global human resources strategy and operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and internal communications.

Mr. Mehta joins Total Environment from Airtel, where he served as Vice President of Talent Acquisition for the Asia Pacific region. During his five-year tenure at Airtel, Mr. Mehta was instrumental in building Airtel’s leadership team in India through a variety of initiatives including employee engagement programs and talent management practices such as employee surveys, benchmarking analysis, and training workshops on leadership skillsets among others.

Before joining Airtel in 2014 as regional head of recruitment for India & South Asia region, Mr. Mehta held various roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) over 11 years across various business lines including Operations (HR), Finance & Treasury (HR), Sales & Marketing (HR), Corporate Office Functions (HR), Human Resources/Culture & Compliance (HR).
