Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) expects to hire more than 1,25,000 employees in FY24. The company is set to recruit for positions in sales, marketing, business development, and operations. There will be a hiring drive in the next few weeks and most of these jobs will be filled by mid-November.
TCS is optimistic about hiring over 1.25 lakh employees in FY24, and we have already begun the process by creating new hiring channels exclusively dedicated to internal talent acquisition.”
TCS has opened up its vacancies portal and got available four lakh vacancies positions on its website. The tech giant is also hiring in excess of one crore employees across India, as of now.
The company is also planning to hire 50,000 R&D engineers by 2020. TCS offers various job opportunities across various companies such as TCS Technologies Ltd., TCS Operations LLP, TCS Applications Consulting LLP, and more. Companies like TCS have found success by hiring professionals who can handle the technical aspects related to their respective subjects such as information technology, hardware design, and application portability as well as creating versatile solutions for clients.
TCS India’s Business Model 2020 plan is to grow the business by employing 2.5 crore people and providing them with opportunities through digitization, mobile banking-enabled services, financial inclusion programs, etc. However, this requires the hiring of over 1.2 crore employees by FY24 TCS needs to hire another 5 lakhs by the end of March 2020 (end of the calendar year 2020).
Tata Consultancy Services, the country’s leading digital firm has signed a pact with Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL) to hire over one-and-a-half lakh employees in FY 24. The company, which has already signed an agreement with Zoho Corp for hiring, will add a strength of 6 lakh employees.
The IT industry’s employment will continue to rise this year, even as the sector’s total workforce shrinks. According to a report in Mint, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS), the only software services company among India’s top five business houses to have reported quarterly results so far, expects over one lakh new hires in its financial year ended March 2019. It is hiring over 1.25 lakh employees in FY24, says the company. TCS is aiming to add 6 lakh employees this financial year and create businesses worth over Rs 70,000 crore by FY31.
