Shiva Ayyadurai applies for Twitter CEO, asked Musk to select him. In a move that surprised many, Shiva Ayyadurai has applied for the position of Twitter CEO.

Ayyadurai is a well-known figure in the world of tech and politics. He has been an outspoken critic of Elon Musk’s business practices, even going so far as to sue him for libel in 2016. In his application letter, he called on Musk to select him as Twitter’s next leader.

Ayyadurai has also been quite active on social media—he has more than 200,000 followers on Twitter and more than 30,000 followers on Instagram.

In his application letter he stated that he feels that social media platforms have a responsibility to be more open and accountable with their users. “The platform that I am applying for is one that has not been transparent enough in their data access process” said Mr. Ayyadurai “This lack of transparency is why I feel it is my duty to step up into the role of CEO”

In his application letter he also stated his concerns about the lack of diversity in tech jobs stating “I believe we need to make sure that we are recruiting from all backgrounds, races and creeds” he added “we need to make sure we are hiring for inclusivity and not just diversity”
