Philip will be responsible for the growth and expansion of Schneider Electric in the country and will report to Sanjay Kumar, President – of South Asia, and to Binu Philip, President – of Greater India Zone. He will also act as a member of the Executive Committee of the Schneider Electric group.
Binu Philip has been appointed as the chief human resources officer for Schneider Electric’s Greater India Zone.
Philip is currently the HR head of Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and will oversee all HR functions across the greater India zone. Schneider Electric has appointed Binu Philip as the company’s Chief Human Resources Officer.
Philip will be responsible for leading Schneider Electric’s human resources functions in India, Japan, and China. He will be based out of Schneider Electric’s head office in France.
Philip was previously with Safal Niveshak, where he was responsible for leading HR functions across the country, including growth in the high-growth Southeast Asia region. He will be based in India and report directly to Schneider CEO Hansjörg Lacher.
“Binu has been an incredible contributor to Schneider’s global growth,” said Lacher.
Philip will be responsible for leading the company’s growth in the region, which includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. He will be based in Schneider Electric’s headquarters in the US with responsibility for all regional business units within this zone.
The role will be based in Mumbai. The company said that Philip will be responsible for driving Schneider Electric’s business across the region, with a focus on developing Schneider Electric’s digital solutions and services portfolio.
Schneider Electric today announced that it has appointed Binu Philip, currently the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Schneider Electric Power and Utilities, as its new CHRO – Greater India Zone.
Philip will replace Deepak Naidu who will be retiring from Schneider Electric after 13 years of service with the company.
Binu Philip will be leading the company’s operations in Greater India Zone, a region that covers 26 countries and territories. In his new role, Philip will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Schneider Electric’s operations in the Greater India Zone.
Philip has over 20 years of experience in management roles with Schneider Electric, most recently serving as the Vice President of Operations for its South East Asia Region. Prior to this role, he was responsible for overseeing operations in India and Singapore.
