Revolut, the world’s fastest-growing financial services company, today announced a partnership with India’s leading digital payments platform, Flipkart. Sandeep Goenka will head People at Revolut India and be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing talent; increasing productivity, and cutting costs across the business in the relevant areas of People operations. As the Head of People at Revolut India, Sandeep Goenka will report directly to Dipali Nayar, VP of People Operations and Innovation at Revolut.
Revolut’s new Head of People, based in India, is Sandeep. Sandeep joined Revolut from Flipkart, where he held the role of Head of People (HR), with responsibilities in the areas of organizational culture and people strategy. Sandeep has over 15 years of experience working with leading companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise (where he was VP, of Talent Development & Learning), Capgemini, and Cognizant Technology Solutions Group.
The new appointment was announced on July 29 with a video talking about his vision for the division and his work at Flipkart. He was previously a senior executive at the online retail giant, where he was responsible for employee wellness and HR activities as well as building a team that worked with the firm’s third-quarter numbers
Before the role at Revolut, he was head of people at IBM India and had spent over a decade working in various leadership positions across IBM. He has a deep understanding of the IT market and holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management. He will be responsible for shaping the culture of Revolut’s talent—helping to recruit. And develop the right people to grow its global footprint.
In this role, Sandeep will be responsible for creating an agile and dynamic workforce that can support Revolut’s fast-growing company. He will also spearhead Revolut’s recruitment strategy to ensure. That we hire the right people at all levels, across our business.

Sandeep is Flipkart’s Head of People and Strategy, leading global HR on the e-commerce platform. He has more than 20 years of experience in managing talent across roles and functions. Both at an international level and in India. Previously he was Director at MindTree where he held leadership roles in HR, and Talent Management and aligned with the Senior Leadership Team as well as various large consulting organizations such as Accenture, IBM, and Deloitte.
With his expertise in leading people, Sandeep will be instrumental in building great teams and driving them toward better performance. He joins Revolut Indian as a Senior Vice President with four years of industry experience.
