Sharma’s main responsibilities will include enhancing employee retention and engagement; developing talent management strategies; developing succession planning; overseeing employee benefits; and collaborating with international teams on business strategy.
In his new role, Sharma will lead the company’s human resources function and drive its HR strategy and initiatives. He will also be responsible for overall employee engagement, including developing ways to improve employee productivity and satisfaction, as well as understanding how best to retain employees.
Sharma joins RateGain from Intel Corporation where he worked as an executive vice president of digital media at an organization that was named the #1 Best Place to Work in Technology by Glassdoor twice. He also spent time at Microsoft as director of EMEA operations and then as vice president of Windows devices in EMEA.

Sahil is a seasoned industry professional with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He also served as group vice president of human resources at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where he oversaw all aspects of employee development and retention.
He has been involved in numerous strategic initiatives to improve employee engagement, including designing programs to improve retention rates and providing training on topics such as diversity and inclusion. RateGain also worked with the Global Diversity Council to develop a global diversity strategy for Marriott International.

Before this role, he held several positions at other companies in the energy industry including senior vice president at Whole Foods Markets, where he was responsible for human resources operations for more than 700 locations.
