Mahindra launches first dedicated farm machinery plant in Pithampur
Mahindra has opened its first dedicated farm machinery plant in Pithampur, Uttar Pradesh. The company’s managing director Pawan Goenka said that the facility would provide a boost to the agriculture sector.
Mr. Goenka said, “This is an important initiative by Mahindra and we are committed to providing our farmers with world-class products.”

Mahindra has launched the Mahindra Farm Machinery Plant (MFMP) located at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The plant will be able to manufacture tractors, harvesters, and other farm-related machines.
According to a press release from Mahindra, the MFMP is an important step for the company as it will help it increase its presence in the farming equipment segment in India. The plant will have a total production capacity of Rs 2,000 crore over three years.
The company has also announced plans to invest Rs 100 crore in the expansion of its existing facilities at Pithampur by 2021. The new facility will have an extra capacity of 4 lakh units annually.”
