The Karnataka State Skill Development Corporation (KSDC) has launched a multi-skill training center in Hubli. The center will have 60 courses, including IT, BPO, and engineering. The new center was inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who also gave away certificates to trainees.
It is one of the biggest skill development centers in the state and has been set up to train students for jobs in areas such as banking and medicine. The government has also announced that it will be building three more such centers across the state.
This is one of the first ever Multi Skill Training Centres in Karnataka and will be providing training to students from all over the state. The center is located near Vishweshwaraiah Technological University, Hubli.
This center aims to provide training to students who wish to pursue higher education in a particular field. The courses offered include Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, etc. The courses offered by this center will also help them gain knowledge about different industries and how they function.
In addition to this, the state is also planning to set up another training center in Belgaum, which will be run by the Karnataka State Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). This center would provide training in different areas like Electronics, Software Development, Robotics, etc.
This initiative was taken by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after he visited Hubli. He said that he would fulfill his promise made to the people of Hubli and make their dreams come true by providing jobs and making their lives better through skill development programs.
The Chief Minister said that the center will be well equipped for imparting quality education to students and will provide jobs to them after completion of their studies.
He said that the government has decided to set up 600 such centers across the state, which will be run by the Karnataka Open University (KOU).
