Elon Musk holds Twitter Blue verified service, says relaunch

The new blue-tick verification service will allow users to verify their identity and access certain features of the Twitter platform, such as the ability to see what tweets are being shared around their area and respond to them.

The announcement comes as Twitter is struggling with a decline in daily active users, with many saying that they have chosen not to use the platform because of its poor-quality content. Musk says that he hopes this new service will help turn things around for Twitter, which has seen its user base decline from 330 million in 2016 to 275 million currently.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has announced that he will relaunch his Twitter verification service, “blue tick” verification. He said in a tweet that he was not happy with how Twitter verified accounts were handled and wanted to change the system. Elon Musk is giving the Twitter verification service a relaunch. The new strategy is to allow verified users more control over how they are being verified.

The new strategy will allow verified users to choose whether or not their real names are used in the verification process and whether or not pictures of them should be included on their profiles. The company also plans on adding more options for users who want to be verified but don’t want their name attached to a profile photo or personal information, as well as for those who don’t have any photos of themselves on social media at all. This change could help reduce the amount of trolling that occurs on Twitter’s platform by making it easier for trolls to hide behind fake accounts without having to worry about having their identities revealed online.

However, some critics believe this move could backfire if it leads to more harassment against women who choose not to use their full names when they’re being verified by Twitter. Elon Musk’s Twitter account has been verified, but the blue tick is still quiet. The company has not revealed a plan for a relaunch of the verification program, though they did note that they are “exploring different options.”

The news comes in response to a question from TechCrunch about whether Elon Musk’s account would be verified again. The answer was short and sweet: “We’re exploring different options.” Twitter has been trying to figure out how to make its verification program work since it was first announced in 2016.

The relaunching of this verification service marks a change in strategy for Musk and other Twitter users. Currently, it is only available to verified accounts, but the company says that it will be available to any user with 1 million followers or more. This is not a major policy change, as verified accounts have been able to use the blue tick since early May 2019. However, this new announcement will likely make the blue tick more widely known among the general public.

The move comes after @elonmusk made several posts about how important it is for him to verify his account so that he could use it during times when he doesn’t have access to his phone or computer (such as while traveling or while driving).

In fact, he even went so far as to say that he would be willing to pay someone $10/hour if they would help him verify his account via text message instead of using an app like cell phone verification services (which can cost upwards of USD 10 per hour).
