Delhi Metro to start a double-line movement on the Grey Line section Friday

Delhi Metro is all set to begin double-line movement on the Grey Line section from next week. The move will enable commuters to travel in both directions simultaneously, which will make their trips more comfortable. The Delhi metro has also announced that it will soon be offering a Wi-Fi connection in all its stations. This would help commuters keep up with their work or study while on the train.

The new line will offer connectivity to the areas of Moti Nagar, Nizamuddin, Greater Kailash-I, and the new corporate office of Infosys. This section has been named the ‘Grey Line’.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has already started work on this section and it is expected to be completed by 2023. The DMRC has also started work on a metro station at Mehram Nagar, which will be connected to this section by an elevated bridge.

This new double line will ensure better connectivity to the people living in areas such as Moti Nagar, Nizamuddin, Greater Kailash-I, and the new corporate office of Infosys.

Delhi Metro will start a double-line movement on the Grey Line section Friday, with the first train leaving at 9:30 am. This is a new addition to the line and is part of the metro’s plans to expand its services.

Delhi’s metro network is about to get even more convenient.

Starting Friday, Delhi Metro will begin double-line service on the section of the Grey Line that stretches from Janakpuri West to Inderlok. The new line will make it easier for passengers to get around the city, whether they’re heading north, south, or east.

First, Delhi Metro is going to introduce double-line movement on a section of its main line. This will be done on Friday when the new section of the Delhi Metro’s Grey Line opens. The new section will connect the Airport Expressway station with Dwarka Sector 10. The first phase of this project was inaugurated in October last year by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The Delhi Metro has been working on improving connectivity between Noida and Noida Extension since last year. The work has been completed in the last week of March and now all that remains is for the trains to start running on it.

The metro has recently started preliminary testing for both lines and now it will be able to provide commuters with double-line services from next week onwards. This means that commuters traveling from Noida or Ghaziabad will have more options available when they travel by train as well as a bus route.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) also planning to increase station capacity by 30% by 2025. They are also planning to add another 872 kilometers of the railway line by 2024.

The new line will be operated by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and is aimed at seamlessly connecting the western and eastern parts of the city. The project has been divided into two phases — Phase I and Phase II. In phase I, four lines are being built: Pink Line, Green Line, Violet Line, and Blue Line. The Pink Line is already operational while the rest are expected to be completed by 2023.
