Simpl appoints Sneha Arora as its new chief human resources officer

Simpl is delighted to announce the appointment of Sneha Arora as chief human resources officer. Arora has extensive experience in the HR space and will be in charge of all aspects of employee relations, including compensation, benefits, training and development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, career management, and succession planning for the company’s senior leadership team.

Arora has been with Simpl for two years and has held roles such as director of talent acquisition and manager of human resources since joining the company in 2016. She was most recently responsible for developing the company’s global hiring strategy, which includes a focus on technology and data analytics.

“Sneha has been instrumental in helping us grow our talent pipeline,” said Simpl CEO Shaunak Pandey. “She brings together a unique combination of skills that will be key to Simpl’s continued success.”

Arora holds bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and computer science from Punjab University, India, where she also completed an MBA program at the School of Management Studies.

Arora is currently a director at KPMG, where she’s worked since 2010 and most recently led the firm’s human resources practice in India. She has also held leadership roles at other companies in the financial services industry, including Capital One and Citigroup.

“Sneha has a strong track record of deploying her deep knowledge of talent management to drive change and improve performance across her organizations,” said Simpl CEO Vinod Sharma in a statement. “She will be instrumental in building on our current capabilities as we continue to expand internationally.”

Simpl is an e-commerce company that sells cosmetics over the web. The company, which was founded by Sharma in 2010, has grown rapidly since its launch—it now has more than 60 million customers globally and is expanding into new markets such as China and Japan

Arora has been with the company since [date] and has worked in various roles across the business, including as a staff member in the HR department. She will be responsible for all aspects of human resources for Simpl, including recruitment and talent management, compensation, benefits and leave management, and facilities management.

Arora has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and strategic planning, including as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and as an associate director of human resources at Johnson & Johnson. She was most recently the human resources manager for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

“Sneha is a strong, experienced leader who will help Simpl continue its growth trajectory,” said Arora, who will take over for current CHRO Vishal Seth. “We are thrilled to have her on board.”

Named one of the “100 Most Creative People in Business” by Fast Company, Sneha has extensive experience in leadership and management roles, including at high-growth startups like Box, which was acquired by Google for $3.6 billion. She has also helped create processes and systems in companies such as FedEx, Pfizer, and Apple.
