Jain has worked with ICRA since 2014. He has held various roles in the organization including head of business development, head of global strategic planning, and head of operations. He also served on the board of directors at ICRA Insights (India) Pvt Ltd.
Shubham has been with ICRA for three years and will take on the new role now as a head of group strategy and BT. He has worked extensively with our clients and partners across the globe, including multinationals, private banks, and hedge funds. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the group strategy for ICRA’s clients and partners globally.
Mr. Jain has over 15 years of experience in the field of information technology, working with companies such as IBM and Accenture. He has held various senior positions at NTT Data, where he was responsible for leading strategy development, operations, and product management teams across the globe. Before joining ICRA, Mr. Jain served as Global Chief Information Officer at Accenture Technology Services, where he was responsible for leading Accenture’s global IT strategy and execution capabilities.

Jain has good experience in the financial services industry and was most recently the Head of Group Strategy at ICRA Research. He will be working closely with ICRA’s Executive Chairman, Sajjan Kumar Gupta, to develop global strategies for the company’s businesses in retail, wealth management services, asset management, endowment funds, and private equity.
Jain brings with him extensive experience as an executive in private equity funds at leading global banks such as Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Citigroup Asset Management, and Merrill Lynch Asset Management. Jain will be responsible for all strategy, marketing, and business development matters for ICRA. He will also be responsible for the client care service delivery to clients.

Mr. Jain has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on consumer sector strategy, regulatory issues, and the development of new business models. In his new role at ICRA, he will be responsible for developing the company’s overall strategy and ensuring that it remains in tune with market developments.
In a recent executive shuffle, India-based investment bank ICRA has appointed Shubham Jain as Head of Group Strategy and BT.
Jain is currently the Head of Strategy at ICRA, and will now be responsible for the firm’s global strategy, as well as the business groups that make up ICRA’s portfolio companies. He will also have a hand in ICRA’s investments and advisory services. Jain graduated from Oxbridge with an MBA in Finance and Investment Management. He has worked at KPMG, McKinsey, and Bain & Co., where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions work on behalf of various clients, including Microsoft.
